The rules (DEF for dummies) updated 8.14

If you violate any of these rules, you will be punished! One violation will receive a warning. More will result in suspension from the boards for several days.
-No double posting. Double posting is what it’s called when you post a reply to a topic (or start a new topic), and then post again before another member has replied. In other words, you end up with two of your posts in a row. If you must add something to what you’ve already posted, please make use of the "modify" button found at the top right corner of all of your posts. The only exception to this rule is if three days have passed and no one's replied to your post, then you can reply again.
-You may not post a link to another message board for the sake of advertising it.
-Don't type a long line of exclamation points or any other character (including smileys). i.e., "!!!" 10687 times, it messes up the page. (You can have a few exclamation marks... just try not to go over 10).
-Don’t stray too far from the topic of conversation. If what your posting has nothing to do with the subject of the topic you’re posting in, then you are probably definitely violating this rule. (Slight off-trackness is allowed as long as there is a significant connection between the two subjects and the thread is steered back on track after a few posts.)
-Posts may not include explicit, violent, or otherwise offensive content.
-Posts may not be less that 5 words, including smiles. Unless you're Kuma. : P
Signatures:
-Sigs must be no wider than 500 pixels, and no taller than 200 pixels.
-Sig pictures may not be linked to URLs outside of DEF.
-Sigs may not include explicit, violent, or otherwise offensive content.
-Large Sigs must not be animated. (If you have a question about the size, please let me know.) Many users are still on dial-up modems or slower computers, and animations will slow them down considerably.
Spaming:
-No spamming will be tolerated anywhere but in the spam board. It will be deleted on-sight. Spam is any post that has no intellectual value. For those of you who don’t know what intellectual means: don’t post nonsense.
Flaming:
-Absolutely NO flaming. Flaming is defined as an unnecessary, unjustified, baseless, and unwarranted, insult, offense, attack, or demeaning action towards another member.
Custom Titles:
-If you have 100 post counts or more, you can PM an admin, and ask for a custom title. It will replace your current default title of Rookie, Champion, Ultimate, Mega, or Mega Fusion.
